American student loan debt is currently hovering around a trillion dollars, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Presidential candidates are making debt relief a major portion of their campaign platforms. Starting salaries for recent college graduates in anything other than hard sciences are stagnant, if recent college graduates can find jobs. It all sounds like bad news, but some students enjoy 100 percent job placement rates, and can start in jobs paying a decent wage plus full benefits, and have their final semesters fully paid for by their employers.
